Listen to the Voice of The Victor!

Luke 4:1-13

Battling temptation requires understanding Satan's deceptive tactics and learning to listen to God's voice and use his authority. Satan challenges our identity in Christ and mixes truth with lies, just as he did in the wilderness with Jesus and even in the Garden of Eden (in Genesis 3). Jesus demonstrated the path to victory by remaining confident in His identity as God’s Son, using Scripture, and staying focused on the Father's plan. Through Christ, we can also overcome temptation by embracing our own identity as God's children, wielding Scripture as our weapon, and relying on the Holy Spirit's power and grace.
