Listen to Him in Times of Fear

Genesis 15:1-18 and Psalm 27

Fear is a universal human experience that even biblical heroes like Abraham faced. After a great military victory, Abraham still struggled with fear about remaining childless despite God's promises. God responded by taking Abraham outside to count the stars, illustrating His promise of countless descendants. This teaches us that God addresses our specific fears with specific promises, and while His timing may differ from ours, His character remains trustworthy. Finding peace comes through honest communication with God and anchoring ourselves in His promises.
