Something to Prepare For

In the season of Advent, we always hear the story of John the Baptist and how God used him to prepare the way of the Lord (Jesus) by baptizing the people in the river Jordan ... a baptism of water and repentance. But John says, "one is coming AFTER me...mightier than I...he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit!" How might John's message cause us to pause and prepare for the Lord's coming again?
